From WoodScavengers to Olympic Yard Works
Olympic Yardworks began in 2023 in Port Angeles, Washington, under the name Woodscavengers. Back then, most of our work centered on cutting, processing, and delivering firewood, with the occasional tree-removal job. It was a small, family-driven start built while my wife and I were preparing to welcome our son. From day one, the goal was simple: create a stronger future for our family.
Growing with Independence
When we relocated to Independence, Missouri in 2025, the move gave us the opportunity to grow in ways we couldn’t before. With larger equipment, more family support, and a higher demand for services, we rebranded as Olympic Yard Works LLC and expanded far beyond firewood. Here in Missouri, we’re able to take on full commercial jobs and offer year-round property care, including snow removal—something we couldn’t do back in Washington.
A True Family-Run Team
Today, our team includes myself, my wife, her brother, and my father-in-law. With more hands and more capability, we now focus on storm cleanup, tree removal, lawn care, and snow services throughout Jackson County and the surrounding areas. At its core, Olympic Yardworks has always been about family and building something that lasts.
